Biography
Roberta (“Robbie”) Tejchman earned a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, with a major in Political Science and a minor in National Security and Intelligence from Fairmont State University in 2013. Ms. Tejchman received a juris doctor degree, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2017. While in law school Ms. Tejchman was Co-Managing Editor of the Canada-United States Law Journal, senior editor of the War Crimes Prosecution Watch, a legal writing teaching assistant and tutor, and completed an externship with the Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.
Prior to joining CTKP, Ms. Tejchman worked defending disputes involving slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, construction defects, and liability actions involving homeowners’ associations. Ms. Tejchman also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation – State Programs Division. As an AAG, she defended state departments, agencies, and officials in suits involving the constitutionality of Florida state statutes including claims related to §1983 civil rights issues. She also assisted with the defense of class action civil rights lawsuits against the State of Florida seeking systemic or institutional reform of state programs or systems.
